"Resilient Parent, Resilient Child" is a free program series offered to all families. The purposes of the series are: (1) to support parents with resources and information, (2) to connect parents to one another for support; and (3) to build resiliency in our community so that families thrive.
This series has largely been made possible due to the Natick Public Schools, and Principal Rose Bertucci of the Natick High School, who have offered to host all programs at the new NHS building. The program series schedule has been put together by a team of volunteers and community representatives, with thanks to the following:
Rose Bertucci, NHS Principal
Tim Collins, Natick Public Schools Athletic Director
Rosemary Driscoll, President, Natick Education Foundation (NEF)
Jane Boyle, President, NHS PTSO
Katie Sugarman, Natick Together for Youth (NTY)
Karen Fossett, Program Director, SPARK Kindness, Inc.
Christine Guthery, President, SPARK Kindness, Inc.
The Resilient Parent, Resilient Child program series has been made possible by our co-sponsors.
Natick Education Foundation (NEF) has generously agreed to donate funds to support the 2014-15 Resilient Parent, Resilient Child" speaker series. Their support has enabled us to expand the programming that we can offer to parents and the communuity. The NEF website is HERE.
Charles River Rotary Club held a fundrasing event in June 2013 called "Scoopapalooza." It was an all you can eat ice cream festival, and the proceeds from this successful event have supported our speaker fees and outreach.
In addition, Natick Together for Youth (NTY), a broad based community organization supporting resilent and healthy youth, has generously donated funds to support speakers fees.
We are truly grateful for this support. Thank you also to SPARK Kindness and Roots & Wings Healing Arts Center for support of the programs.
